BUSHRANGER IN THE BLACK

Bushranger has continued his terrific run in Europe and enjoyed one of his best days at the office with a pair of stakes placings and a winner in England on Thursday night.
The Richard Hannon trained Langavat followed up his win on 8 June with a hard fought second in the Listed Coral Dragon Stakes over 1000m at Sandown, edging out fellow Bushranger, Majestic Alexander who was also a winner at her previous outing on 30 June.
Both Langavat and Majestic Alexander join the highly promising, Riverboat Springs, with black type, while Fair Ranger may well join them following his gutsy performance at Warwick.
Coming into the race with a win and three placings from as many starts, this other Richard Hannon trained youngster looked like getting beat when his jockey dropped the reins, but rallied at the line to score.

Bushranger (below) now has seven winners from his first European crop and we eagerly await the first of his Aussie bred youngsters this spring.
