Just when you thought SHARKBITE’s pedigree couldn’t get any better, his ‘blue hen’ relation Hasili, produces another stakes winnerThe following is a report from Breeding&Racing:
In France overnight (1 September), Khalid Abdullah’s Juddmonte Farms superstar broodmare Hasili recorded her 7th stakes winner (from 8 runners) when US-bred daughter Deluxe (Storm Cat-Hasili, by Kahyasi) scored by a head in the €55,000 (A$79,000) Listed Prix De Liancourt (2000m) for 3YO fillies at Longchamp. Deluxe defeated Valasyra (Sinndar-Valima, by Linamix) and UK-bred Homepage (Dansili-Condition, by Deploy).
Deluxe took her record to 3 wins and a runner-up (in May’s Gr1 Prix Saint-Alary over 2000m at Longchamp) from 5 starts. Her stakes winning dam Hasili has also produced leading sire Dansili (a Gr2-winner and triple Gr1-placed) plus Gr1-winners Banks Hill, Intercontinental, Champs Elysees, Cacique and Heat Haze.
