Yep, it’s all
Caviar at the moment.
News has come
through that Black Caviar’s half brother and multiple Group winner, All Too
Hard, is back in work with the Hawkes stable, and being aimed at a spring
campaign. His main target, at this stage, appears to be the Group One Caulfield
Guineas in October.
The winner of
his first three races at two, he just got pipped by the Triple Crown winning
juvenile Pierro in the ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes-G1 before being tipped out for
a spell.
Meanwhile,
Black Caviar’s half sister – the Redoute’s Choice filly which was sold for $2.6
million at Easter – has been broken in and is now under the tutelage of BC3
trainer, Kevin Newby.
Nicknamed ‘Pippa’,
the filly is set to appear between races at Geelong on Friday 10 August.
According to BC3 spokesman, Simon Marshall, the filly is: "a Grade A student and is showing signs of being a real natural athlete."
You don't think there'll be a few people watching her go around at Geelong!
