Another pin up boy for Eliza Park Racing with the win of Mourinho in last Saturday’s Tasmanian Derby-G3.
Joining an ever growing list of Group winners to graduate from Eliza Park’s racing division at Kerrie, Mourinho was sent to Eliza Park to be broken in and pre-trained after being sold at the 2009 Inglis Sydney Classic Yearling Sale.
Now in the hands of Moe mentor, Peter Gelagotis, Mourinho appears to have a bright future and, according to his trainer, will now have a tilt at the Group One South Australian Derby-G1: “I really think the sky’s the limit for him”.
