Nifty double yesterday (Sunday) for promising Danehill stallion, Danbird who is now standing at Glenrae Stud in South Australia (in conjunction with Eliza Park).
Danbird got the ball rolling with Heartbreak Lass notching up a confident victory over 1100m at Hobart, scooting away to score by 3.5 lengths and registering her second win at the track from three career outings.
Bred by Chris Gliddon, Heartbreak Lass is out of the Brocco mare, Capital Growth.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the globe, Jack Luey also grabbed his second win by scoring over five furlongs at Carlisle, continuing Danbird’s marvellous run in the United Kingdom, including a victory to Talley Close at Catterick last Wednesday.
