Got absolutely nothing to do with thoroughbreds, but the following photos were dragged off one of those old brownie cameras: almost 69 years after they were taken.
Evidently the camera had been stored away in a foot locker and it’s a wonder the film survived for that length of time.
The photos were taken by a sailor at Pearl Harbor on the morning of 7 December 1941.
