Learned a new
word this week … agita. According to the dictionary, it means heartburn or
gastric distress – giving you more aggravation than you can stand.
Well, Psychic
Mick certainly gave us (and those who took the $1.50) plenty of agita at
Morphettville on Saturday with his last gasp victory in the Irish Day Handicap
over 1000m.
But what a
horse! He missed the kick badly and never looked like he was going to settle.
Turning for home he was taking longer to wind up than a grandfather clock, but
he came good on the wire to score with half a panel to spare.
At the end of
the day it might not have looked much but if you can grab hold of the video,
have another peek. The son of Shinzig has now won three from three and
according to trainer, Daniel Clarken, he’s off to Melbourne and 1400m.
Keep your eye
out for him … he’s worth the agita!
