Slade Bloodstock’s nippy Bel Esprit 4YO, Waltzes, recorded his fourth win from six starts at Terang on Saturday (3 April), scooting home to score by over four lengths.
Off the scene for 25 weeks, the Jarrod McLean flyer is clearly a sprinter of note and a city start would appear to beckon.
Second on debut and an inexplicable ninth before being tipped out for a spell, Waltzes has won his other four starts by a combined total of 13.6 lengths.
Out of the Picnicker mare, Dance the Music (a half sister to multiple Group Two winner Magic Music, dam of Group Two winner Magically), Waltzes was sold by Eliza Park at the 2007 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
