WRITTEN TYCOON - WAY ABOVE AVERAGE

Interesting figures released this morning from ANZ Bloodstock News relating to 2010 Yearling Sales: statistics by sire.
It shows that Written Tycoon averaged $32,753 for 19 yearlings sold – 3.97 times service fee: the second highest for a first season sire with 20 or more offered.
Written Tycoon (below) has been one of Eliza Park’s most popular sires since retiring to stud in 2007, covering over 323 mares in the past three seasons.
Based on the feedback from trainers and buyers, that’s one average that should be maintained this spring.
