Mexican golfer Lee Trevino?
A real showman
of the 1970s, winning six majors, he was struck by lightning on the golf course
on no less than two occasions.
Asked by a
reporter what he’d do if he was ever caught on the course again during a
lightning strike, ‘Supermex’ promptly replied that he’d grab his 1-iron and
hold it up to the sky.
Why?
“Because even
God can’t hit a 1-iron!”
