VALE BRYAN MUSCHIALLI

I worked with Bryan several moons ago when he was Treasurer of Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria. A real character … good bloke. From all of us at Eliza Park, our condolences to his family, particularly his wife Lynette who hasn’t been in the best of health for some time.

Long term and respected Victorian Bloodstock Agent Bryan Muschialli passed away on Monday 28 January 2013, as a result of injury incurred following a fall.
A pioneer in the early export of Australian bloodstock to the Far and Middle East, the family company of Bryan Muschialli Limited had to be extremely resourceful in securing transport and contacts to further their enterprise. Bryan himself was a long term member of the Victorian breeding industry (a Bloodhorse Breeders member since 1970), was currently Treasurer of the Federation of Bloodstock Agents of Australia Limited, and a former President.
Additionally, Bryan bred horses for himself and clients, had owned rural property, and was an extremely enthusiastic owner who was a regular at race meeting including winning a race at Sale racecourse on the day that he suffered his accident.
Colleagues and friends remember him more importantly as a cheery companion, with a strong sense of ethics and professional standards. Condolences are extended to his widow Lynette, daughter Tracy Howard (currently Secretary of FBBA) and fellow family members.
A memorial service for Bryan will be held tomorrow.
