JOHN JEFFS APPOINTED ELIZA PARK ASIA REPRESENTATIVE

In recognition of the important role that Asia plays in the operation’s global strategy, it was announced this week that John Jeffs would become Eliza Park’s Asia representative, commencing 1 October.
The former racecourse manager at Sydney’s two leading racetracks, Randwick and Rosehill, and – for a number of years – managing course activities in Hong Kong, John has also played a pivotal role for both Eliza Park and Tyreel Stud at major sales.
“We’re very excited about the appointment and it’s a step forward for Eliza Park in the region,” Eliza Park CEO Cameron Croucher enthused. “JJ is at the front line for us at sales and, during his time as the ‘meet and greet’, he’s liaised with the buyers of many million dollar horses.
“Importantly though, JJ is widely known throughout South East Asia and Australasia and, for that matter, there’s very few industry people he doesn’t say g’day to.
“JJ will be based in Australia – and of course remain as our front man at sales – but will regularly visit Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau … and assist with the expansion into mainland China.
“JJ, naturally, will have the support of our burgeoning racing division which has built up a reputation with Asian clients through the export of ready to run horses and via our breaking in and pre-training facilities.
“In such a competitive marketplace, liaison with Asia requires a person with credibility and professionalism – on that score, John Jeffs fits the bill perfectly.”
John Jeffs can be contacted on 0407 463 626.
