SHINZIG’S ON FIRE

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
The old axiom may well apply to the progeny of Shinzig who have certainly come under notice in recent weeks.
Firstly, two of his youngsters went under the spotlight at the Gold Coast and now another of his first croppers has shown up in a breeze up across the Tasman.
At the National Horses in Training Sale, the Shinzig colt from Time Is Hope ran a cracking 10.63 seconds and was subsequently knocked down for $90,000, while the Shinzig colt from Chlorophyll sold for $120,000.
One then wonders what the Shinzig 2YO from the well related Bektris (Lot 43, below) will bring at the New Zealand Ready to Run Sale at Karaka on 15 November after he ran a cracking 10.90 seconds in his breeze up?
