Leading Perth trainer, Trevor Andrews, continued
the ‘wide spread’ support for Wanted today when he secured the Wanted filly
from Evening Charmer for $145,000.
With Wanted yearlings selling up to $460,000 on
Wednesday and then up to $320,000 on Day 2, it was a six figure session again
today when Andrews stepped up to the plate.
Wanted has certainly had global appeal thus far
with Hong Kong’s George Moore Bloodstock, Gai Waterhouse, Peter Moody, Mick
Price, South Africa’s Paul Lafferty, Gerald Ryan, Paul Perry, John Sargent and
of course, Trevor Andrews, all getting what they wanted.
