If only we’d
had a crystal ball …
The $4.20
offered about Psychic Mick in today’s Distinctive Homes Handicap over 1000m at
Morphettville proved to be great value as the Shinzig 2YO stamped his class
with a commanding three length victory.
Off the scene
for nearly four months after a thrilling win on debut over the same course and
distance in January, the first cropper put the issue way beyond doubt in the
run home and the Daniel Clarken trained youngster was eased down on the line by
apprentice Lauren Stojakovic.
Bred by
Michael Tong, Psychic Mick is out of the Bianconi mare, Super Fund, related to
Group One winning 2YO and sire, Victory Prince.
Psychic Mick
is one of just a handful of runners for Shinzig (below) and watch out if there are few
more like him at home!
