Tremendous debut by Kelly Schweida trained 2YO, Little Bit Ditsy, over 1000m at Eagle Farm today.
In the first leg of an interstate city double for Bel Esprit, Little Bit Ditsy led from the jump and cruised home for a three and a half length victory.
Bred by Tori Park and sold through Eliza Park for $80,000 at last year’s Melbourne Premier, Little Bit Ditsy is closely related to both Hollow Bullet and Red Hot Mama.
Although her only public showing was a fifth of six in a trial at Doomben last September, Little Bit Ditsy had obviously showed plenty in work, being sent out a $1.55 favourite.
Clearly a filly with a big future and becomes Bel Esprit’s 11th individual 2YO winner for the season.
