Bel Esprit has produced his share of 2YO winners
– stakes winners Gabbidon, Strike The Tiger and City of Song spring to mind –
but his current crop of juveniles are certainly catching the eye.
Black Caviar’s close relation, Iconic, could end
up being very well named following his command performance at Bendigo
yesterday, but he’s not Robinson Crusoe, given the displays of brilliance from
Clevadude, Diamond Glow (below), Architect and Topaque of late.
Diamond Glow, Architect and Topaque are all
stakes placed, while Clevadude was early favourite for the $2 million Magic
Millions 2YO Classic following a resounding win at Moonee Valley in December.
