Tony Krushka gets an ‘A’ for aptitude following the victory of Esprit Citi at Mornington on Friday 1 January.
Esprit Citi became the first Bel Esprit winner for 2010, but it was a close run thing with Beltrois putting in a blinder for his sire just 15 minutes earlier in the Standish Handicap-G3 at Flemington.
Esprit Citi has certainly had her ups and downs, but Tony and owner/breeder David Neate have stuck by the mare and collected the spoils on Friday.
Out of the Citidancer mare, Citi Winner, Esprit Citi hails from the family of Champion Filly Bounding Away.
