CLANGALANG DOUBLE

Victorian trainer, Shane Nichols, only has a small team but always manages to get the best out of his neddies.
Grass Wonder 4YO, Falken appears to be right up to city class with a strong third at Moonee Valley on Saturday night (2 January), while his Clanglang 3YO – Mistaken Grace – burst through for a solid victory over 1600m at Echuca on New Year’s Eve.
Mistaken Grace has been knocking on the door with recent efforts and continues the outstanding form of her sire, Clangalang, who also produced a winner at Morphettville on Saturday with Luvbite.
Bred by Carol Stuart, Mistaken Grace (pictured below) is out of the Sanction mare, Turlington who won in Melbourne and is out of a half sister to former top miler Algonquin Club.
Meanwhile, Luvbite has now won two and run second from five outings, with the Morphettville effort his first victory in town.
Bred and part-owned by Paul Heward, Luvbite is out of the stakes placed Yeats mare Does She Bite, in turn a half sister to Sydney stakes winner Georgia Belle.
