Bel Esprit has weighed in with yet another double on Sunday,
with a four length romp by To Be Honest at Pakenham and a comfortable victory
to outstanding Tassie sprinter, Bel Price.
Remarkably, the wins came just 12 minutes apart with the
Apple Isle flyer, Bel Price, picking up win No. 6 over 1100m at Hobart. Hailing
from the Keltrice mare, Kel Price, Bel Price (below) has raced on just 10 occasions and
after splitting three placings with a win at Launceston, the Vicki Rhind
trained galloper remains unbeaten since February of last year.
Meanwhile, John Salanitri’s, To Be Honest (ex. Miss Lardydar
by Cossack Warrior) logged up her fourth win when successful over the 1750m at
Pakenham and, showing similar consistency, has only been out of the money once
in her last eight outings.
