Eliza Park is consigning six yearlings to
the Perth Magic Millions (19-20 February), providing the west with the
opportunity to pick up youngsters by Wanted, Bel Esprit, Magnus, Shinzig and
Domesday.
However, the presence steps up 10 fold on
home turf with 60 yearlings entered for the Melbourne Premier (3-6 March)
including full relations to exciting 2YO, Clevadude, Peach Tree, recent Magnus winners
Magnaro (from Group winning 2YO Vita) and How Swede It Is; half relations to the
brilliant Buffering, 2013 Perth Cup winner Talent Show (from Group winner
Oregon Seal), Group One winners Mummify and Jymcarew, Villa Verde, Lyell,
Classy Nugget, Permaiscuous, Dino Mak, Silver Bullion, Occidentals and Rockshaft;
plus yearlings from black type mares such as Spurn, Ticket To Rome, Toast of
the Coast and Dragon Maiden.
In Melbourne Eliza Park has seven
youngsters by Wanted and two from his first season compatriot, Bushranger,
eight by leading Australian Sire (by winners) Bel Esprit, five by another
leading Australian sire (Second Season by winners) in Magnus, three by Statue
of Liberty, a pair by Champion Sire, Written Tycoon, and another from promising
young sire, Astronomer Royal. There are also yearlings on offer by Encosta de
Lago, Exceed And Excel, Sebring, Bernardini, High Chaparral, Holy Roman
Emperor, Commands, Rock of Gibraltar, Tale of the Cat, Savabeel, Any Given
Saturday, New Approach, O’Reilly, Authorized, Elvstroem, Flying Spur, Hidden
Dragon, Pentire, Purrealist and Teofilo.
The Melbourne Premier draft will be
available for inspection from Tuesday 26 February.
Eliza Park will again have a large presence
at the Adelaide Magic Millions with 27 up for grabs, highlighted by five
yearlings apiece from Magnus and Written Tycoon, two by Wanted (including the
second foal of Hussonet 2YO stakes winner Huiskes), a pair each from first time
seller, Bushranger, and Shinzig, along with the progeny of Bel Esprit, Statue
of Liberty, Blevic, Duke of Marmalade, Kaphero, Nicconi, Reaan, Ready’s Image, Sebring,
Time Thief and Turffontein.
